Hello, long time no see. I've been rather not around lately. I have a good excuse for the past month, but not the prior ones. I spent my past month being pretty sick with a bad sinus infection then viral syndrome and landed myself in the ER twice. Good news is I am getting better. I've sketched and scanned a bunch of sketches since I last really updated here, I'm just so hesitant to put them up. Mostly because I don't know if I'll ever finish them (like do line art and color, in which case I'd want to keep them secret). At the same time, I feel like I kind of want to show off my newer stuff. I just don't know. At any rate, I may do a huge art dump of all that stuff sometime soon. Or maybe start putting up a few pieces a day or something. We'll see.

The program is called Apophysis, and you can download it for free. Read the tutorial; otherwise you won't understand what you're doing. The tutorial's on the linked page as well. Let's see... I haven't watched the video tutorials yet, apparently they give advice on cooler stuff. Mostly you just have to mess around with it until you hit something that looks good, then convert it into a .jpg file. Png files also work, but they go on the assumption that your background is clear, so you get something like my piece "Sunrise" instead of the others. Good luck, and have fun!
